Welcome

Welcome to our blog for the ladies that may be just starting out in the sport of shooting a gun, may have never actually picked up a gun before, but would like to learn more, or may have been shooting for years and would like to share experiences with others. It is intended that we will share experiences, techniques, gear, and changes in the law that may impact our ability to own a gun and/or shoot for recreational purposes. So, please feel free to read, write and give feedback to help us gals understand this sport that might be foreign to many today. Remember, girls shoot too!

Heading out to the Collier County, Florida Sheriff's gun range to get some more professional training and shooting time in.  Ladies, check with your local Police/Sheriff's departments for more information on their gun range options.  Many allow use on specified days and it is typically free of charge.  You must supply your own gun, ammo, eye protection and ears.  From my personal experience at the Collier County gun range, the police officers/SWAT team members are there for not only safety, but to provide helpful tips on how to properly handle and manage your firearm for any beginners out there all the way to taking those experienced shooters out of their comfort zone to get them to the next level in their shooting development.
